About This Court

Moreau Town Court is located at 351 Reynolds Rd., Moreau, NY 12828, in Saratoga County. Moreau is at the Northern most tip of Saratoga County close to Glens Falls. The Court is located at the Town Hall, which is about 2 miles from exit 17 once you exit the Northway. You simply turn on Reynolds Rd. and once you reach the Hess station, the court is about ½ mile on your left.

Once you arrive at the Moreau Town Court and enter, the courtroom is directly to your left. It’s a very large courtroom (given the volume this court receives) and there is plenty of seating. The Clerk’s office is located directly in front of you. The clerks are generally there Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 4pm

Jeffery B. McGuire and Timothy J. Alden are the two Judges in the Moreau Town Court. They are both pleasant judges and appear to enjoy their positions. Court is held every Thursday and the Judges alternate Thursdays. The Criminal calendar will generally start at 9am and the traffic calendar will generally start at 2pm.

It can be noted that this court handles a high volume of criminal cases (including DWI’s) and also handles a high volume of traffic matters from I-87, the Northway.

Saratoga County ADA Martin Pozefsky, Esq., handles traffic matters in the court and is very easy to work with - he’s a nice guy.  He typically handles traffic matters during scheduled pre-trial conferences at the Court or allows defense attorneys to correspond directly with his office. He typically does not take phone calls regarding traffic matters due to volume.

About This Court

The New Baltimore Town Court is located directly off of Route 9W in Greene County. The Town Court is only a few miles south of the Coeymans Town Court. If you're heading South on 9W you will take a right turn onto Route 51. Obviously if you're heading North on 9W it would be a left turn for you. Your GPS will tell you that you've arrived at the courthouse almost immediately upon accessing Route 51. The GPS is wrong!!! You should ignore your GPS and continue driving down Route 51. The New Baltimore Town Court is about a mile down the road so don't have doubts and trust our instructions, we know better than your GPS.

You'll see a large white building on your right, that is the New Baltimore Town Hall. The New Baltimore Town Court is inside. There are two sets of doors, a white door and a red door. The door you'll need is the white door which is directly underneath the United States flag. Upon entry, to your immediate left, is the New Baltimore Town Court Clerk. The Clerks are open Monday through Friday but are closed daily from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m.

This is a very low volume court and if you end up in the New Baltimore Town Court you will deal with the Greene County Assistant District Attorney. Court Starts promptly at 4:00 PM on Tuesday afternoons. Don’t arrive late because Court is often quick.

About This Court

New Paltz Town Court is located in Dutchess County, State of New York and roughly 5 minutes off of exit 18 of the New York State Thruway a/k/a Interstate 87. Your GPS will undoubtedly bring you to the "Village Hall". Make no mistake about it, the Village Hall is NOT the New Paltz Town Court. Pay close attention to the big red and white sign!!! You will notice the words "Town Justice Building" with arrows on each side, one pointing to the left and the other pointing to the right. Follow the arrow of your choice. Whether you go left or right, make sure you do it in a circular route around the Village Hall building. Directly on the other side of Village Hall is the New Paltz Town Court. Seems simple but a lot of people screw it up.

You'll know you're at the right place when you see a big blue sign that reads "New Paltz Justice Court Office". The New Paltz Town Court is kind of a dump and if you didn't know it was a courthouse, you'd probably think it was unsafe to enter. Trust us, its a courthouse and you're safe to enter :)

The New Paltz Town Court Clerk's office is on the first floor and directly to your right after you walk inside. The front door has a motion activated sensor that alerts the Court Clerk of your presence. Keep this in mind before you start yelling for someones attention. The motion sensor is there to prevent you from yelling. Should you choose to yell, you yell at your own risk. Walk upstairs to find the Courtroom.

If you came here for a parking ticket, go back to the Village Hall ... all New Paltz Parking violations are handled at the Village Hall entrance.
